Twitter allows Location Spotlight on all Professional Accounts

Twitter has announced that all businesses handling professional accounts will now be able to display their locations and other additional contact information on their profiles via Location Spotlight.

The Location Spotlight on Twitter will now be available globally – to all the professionals on Twitter.

For those who don’t know, Location Spotlight allows professionals with physical business locations to display their business address, hours of operation and additional contact information so that customers can reach them via phone, text, email or Twitter Direct Message.

The company made the announcement in a recent tweet.

For a better reach, this feature will also have Google Maps integration to help the customers with directions to navigate to the business’ actual physical location.

In the announcement, Twitter also reveals some other professional products and resources that it has recently introduced and others that it plans to launch.

These include:

1. Professional Home – a centralized resource hub within the Twitter for Professionals        experience
2. More Profile Spotlights – to enable professionals to encourage potential customers to      take desired actions
3. New “Taking Care of Business” Workshop Series – a monthly, live online workshop            series created by Twitter Flight School
4. New #TweetLikeAPro On-Demand Courses on Twitter Flight School – a coursework        designed specifically for small to medium businesses

“We are proud of the foundation we’ve laid with the initial suite of products we’ve unveiled to date, and we’re excited to continue introducing new ways to help professionals achieve business success on Twitter.”

Twitter is on a roll, introducing such practical and helpful solutions to its users. With this global access to Location Spotlight, Twitter is providing all the important information about a business, on the platform itself.
